1. Who we are

Play The Venue ("we", "us") provides software that lets a host run live bingo, quiz night, prize draws and party games for players who join from their own devices.

2. Accounts and hosting

A host account is used to create and run game sessions. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for what happens in sessions you host. New host accounts start with a free trial; continuing after the trial ends requires an active paid plan, billed and managed through our payment provider, Stripe.

3. Playing a game

Players can join a session as a guest, with no account required, using a code or QR code supplied by the host. An optional player account lets scores be kept across sessions.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to harass, defraud or deceive anyone, to upload unlawful content (including audio uploaded for bingo call sounds), or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the platform.

5. Content you provide

If you upload content (such as custom bingo call audio or a venue logo), you confirm you have the right to use it, and you're responsible for it.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Live sessions depend on a working internet connection for the host and players alike.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
